Dominic lives and works in Ballycroy on the west coast of Ireland and draws his inspiration from the quiet beauty that surrounds him.
As he says himself 'My home is in a beautiful part of the world. With mountains at our
back, sparse bog and farmland give way to the sea. It can be wild and desolate
but it can can also be full of peace and charm.'
Like all his work the image you see here is of a limited edition giclee print, one of only fifty ever made. He creates his work using a mixture of traditional drawing techniques and computers. This gives the work a lightness of touch while allowing for beautiful rich colours.
