Jane Dunn was born and raised in England and all her life she has been drawing and painting. She graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the University of Hertfordshire in 1995, and in 2001 she decided to move to Ireland  to the lovely northwest Mayo to expand her art practice.

Her female experience of life and history of making textiles is fundamental to her work when making large land sculptures in felt, stone and wood and smaller, more intimate mixed media pieces.

One of her most recent exibitions was held in Ballina, Co Mayo at the Perspectives Open Show in 2010.

Dominic lives and works in Ballycroy on the west coast of Ireland and draws his inspiration from the quiet beauty that surrounds him.

As he says himself 'My home is in a beautiful part of the world. With mountains at our
back, sparse bog and farmland give way to the sea. It can be wild and desolate
but it can can also be full of peace and charm.'

Like all his work the image you see here is of a limited edition giclee print, one of only fifty ever made.  He creates his work using a mixture of traditional drawing techniques and computers. This gives the work a lightness of touch while allowing for beautiful rich colours.

The Printing Rooms create and supply a beautiful and unusual range of limited edition hand-crafted prints.

The artist behind the Printing Rooms is printmaker Fán Regan. Fán attended art college in Dublin, achieving a BA in Fine Art in 2003.
Fán’s fine art prints are lino cuts, hand-carved and hand-pulled in her compact studio in Dublin. They are unusual in that high attention to detail is paid to the carving process, and therefore a clean, modern look is achieved. Inspiration centred on the Animal Kingdom, with images pared down to achieve a mood from comforting to slightly uneasy but always with a slight quirk.
