Breda Marron is an award winning Irish artist who studied art at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Since 1997 Breda has worked mainly to commission and had exibitions in Ireland, Scotland and London.
Her inspiration comes from literature, nature, wildlife and people and their emotional response to change. She has transformed many of her drawings and paintings into sculpture, using mixed media such as wire, willo, feathers and fabric.
In her recent collecion she created a limited edition giclee prints which includes themes such as love, nurturing, transformation and resilience and mythology.
Breda was a winner of the Large Outdoor Sculpture Award at 'Sculpture in Context' 2012, Botanic Gardens, Dublin.
